Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented S oftware Developer, SME to join our team in the DMV area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Collaborates with management, departments, and customers to identify end user requirements and specifications

D esign algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems and produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements

T est and deploy programs and applications, and troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software

C ompile and assesses user feedback to improve software performance

O bserve user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products

D evelop technical documentation to guide future software development projects

S upervises and mentors subordinate project staff. They engage and work with other Software Developer IVs

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Software Development or a related discipline

Seven or more ( 7 +) years of position-specific relevant experience

Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order :

CCNA-Security

CySA+

GICSP

GSEC

Security+ CE

SSCP

If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required

If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's degree in Software Development or related disciplin e

Experience in an Agile development environment

Relevant industry standard certifications

Clearance Requirements :

This role requires an active TS / SCI clearance

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $170,700-$283,800. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
