SUMMARY

The Senior IT Engineer role is a position requiring a well-rounded background in hardware, software, IT security and technology trends with an elevated level of customer service, confidentiality, and effective communication and relationship skills.

This role must be able to respond quickly, be available outside normal hours and days, and work with a high degree of independence and trust.

The role is expected to maintain a broad knowledge base of current technology and best tech practices / trends that also meet approved corporate standards.

This role is expected to be a highly technical single point of contact for an executive segment of our customer group. This is a specialized role that requires a specific technical knowledge base in almost all areas of technology touchpoints in not only an office environment, but also for personal devices, home technology, both PC and Mac based devices while interacting with high level members of leadership.

Most technology career paths will explore a few of these areas, but a successful person in this role requires all of them.

Additionally, this role requires a balance of both a heads down, hands on technology expert while balancing that job with an intuitive personality that can build relationship at all levels and know how to read a room when interacting with people and sensitive data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts in a Technical Lead capacity for assigned Friedkin executives requiring high sensitivity, customer service, technical savvy, and compliance (including the below detailed duties).

Support of personal devices, company provided technology, residences, and other tech powered items Including off hours and occasionally on while on PTOPC / MAC and mobile device supportImaging, software installation, network connectivity etc.

Accessories, monitors, printers, keyboards / miceApple technology Savvy Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, etc. Apple technology integration and configuration into personal and home technologiesResponsible for maintaining configuration best practice standards and support general corporate and consumer networking skillsHelp Network team troubleshooting switches, routers, firewalls, AP’sBroad general corporate and consumer AV (Zoom, AppleTV, Teams)Manage mobility for customers included Mobile Device ManagementAdditional limited administrator for mobility (Verizon, AT&T,MetTel)AV installation and supportCable, Satellite, TV providers, Sound systems, Apple TV, CrestronPurchasing responsibility and amounts beyond typical IT employee due to the prominent level of supported individuals.

This position is given a higher level of latitude based on the job and follow corporate data privacy practices, policies, and security risk by educating customers on TFG security standards and practicesExcellent communication skills both in writing and orallyGeneral knowledge and aptitude of gadgets and other technologies (ex.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but it is required to be the technical project

Manager of related tasks, vendor oversight and assigned special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in a related IT field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office, around the corporate campus and ownership properties.

The associate is required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state and out of country, where applicable, for business.

The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

Travel is required for this position (up to 60% of the time and on a domestic basis).
