If you have experience working with complex budgets, vendor management skills and prior experience collaborating with an IT department, this IT Financial Analyst role is for you!

The IT Financial Analyst is a newly created position and is responsible for assisting Information Technology Leadership in two main areas :

1) IT Budget Analysis

Assist in managing and tracking the IT budget to help IT leadership identify spending and cost savings opportunities as well as opportunities for accounting automation.

  • Forecasting expenses, allocating funding in alignment with IT project goals.
  • Managing IT invoicing

2) IT Sourcing & Procurement

Identifying alternative options for software / hardware and related IT services to ensure the company is getting the most cost-effective solution that meets their technology needs.

This includes oversight of IT software licensing lifecycle.

  • Vendor Evaluation and Selection - Research and identify potential IT vendors and suppliers. Assist in evaluating vendor proposals, products, and services to determine the best fit for the organization’s requirements.
  • Cost Analysis and Budgeting - Conduct cost analysis to ensure that IT procurement activities align with the organization's budgetary constraints.

Monitor and track IT procurement expenses to control costs and identify potential savings opportunities.

  • Contract Management - Assist in the process of drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with IT vendors, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable and in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Documentation and Reporting - Maintain accurate records of IT procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and vendor communications.

Analyze IT budgets to report data for audit purposes. Assist management in analyzing budget items to identify opportunities for spending and cost savings.

Collaboration with Stakeholders - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, finance, and other relevant departments, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
