Account Executive
Client Overview :
Our client specializes in the sale of promotional products, targeting specialty retail and attraction sites such as the San Diego Zoo and the Statue of Liberty.
They are renowned for delivering unique and memorable items to retailers and distributors.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative with a background in promotional products. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our client's business, focusing on new opportunities within specialty retail and attraction sites.
Experience in selling promotional products or novelty items is highly valued.
Responsibilities :
- Develop new business opportunities within specialty retail and attraction sites.
- Use a strategic approach to understand and address the unique needs of each customer.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, demonstrating a strong understanding of the promotional product landscape.
- Identify and pursue key accounts, including high-profile clients such as the San Diego Zoo and the Statue of Liberty gift shop.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific requirements of each client.
Technical Proficiency :
- Proficiency with PCs and the ability to quickly learn and effectively use CRM systems.
- Experience with HubSpot and proprietary systems is preferred.
- Comfortable using various software and company-specific tools.
Sales Experience :
- Proven track record of sales success.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Industry Knowledge :
- Familiarity with the promotional products industry.
- Experience in the tourism and resorts sectors is a plus.
Custom Order Development :
- Experience or involvement in developing custom orders.
- Ability to liaise between clients and the art department to design custom products.
Location :
- Ideal candidates reside in Washington state (hybrid into Kent).
- Remote positions are available in California, Colorado, or Texas.
- Willingness to travel for on-site visits to meet with clients as needed.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in business development, particularly in promotional products.
- Ability to adapt to a diverse range of customer needs.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a commitment to continuous learning and mastery of the promotional products business.
Compensation :
This position offers a base salary of $75,000, plus commissions, with an expected OTE of $90,000 $95,000 for the first year, increasing thereafter.
