No Travel is anticipated or will be required. Job Summary : Responsible for new business development including selling to small medium businesses (SMBs), proactive outbound prospecting, and appointment setting using best-in-class marketing and sales technologies.
Maintain clean data within our CRM, review campaign results and look for actionable data, and furnish insights on market trends base on the information discovered through engagement efforts.
In this role, you will use best-in-class technologies to sell as part of a team. You will be selling and closing your own deals in the SMB space and setting appointments for the Enterprise sales teams.
You will be part of a team where you will have an opportunity to sit in on other sellers’ sales calls as well as manage your own sales process from beginning to end.
And you will be compensated for setting qualified meetings whether a sale is made or not as well as compensated for your own closed sales.
Essential Functions : Researches potential clients to better understand the roles and responsibilities of today’s HR and business leaders their challenges and motivations.
Generates closed sales of low-cost programs to businesses under 1000 employees. Sets appointments with larger companies by means of proactive outbound prospecting and inbound lead activity (using Calendly, sales platform sequence emails, Linkedin, phone, and other technology, as appropriate).
Asks questions and listens really well to understand a business, its challenges, and how our solutions may help. Documents what you learn in the CRM (Salesforce.
com) by taking good notes, encapsulating the meat of conversations based on sales qualifying techniques. Comfortably speaks with CEOs, C-level, and upper-level management in the HR and Talent space.
Uses Salesforce.com to manage activities and document interactions with customers and prospects. Keeps the data clean. Logs, tracks and maintains records in the CRM.
Persistently reaches out via multiple channels (including social media) to set up qualified appointments. Handles multiple customers and assignments at one time.
Performs other duties as required . Qualifications : Strong technical and social media skills Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
Experience making cold calls and working against defined goals or quotas. Experience with Salesforce.com, Hubspot or similar CRM preferred.
Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on ever-changing needs. Strong team orientation. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Competitive, driven nature. Must have a quiet, private home office location and reliable access to the internet. Excellent oral, written and video conferencing communication skills.
Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field. One to three years of business experience, preferably in an inside sales role or a sales support role.
