Front Desk Associate

Responsibilities :

• Greet pet parents and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage pet parent inquiries
• Verify pet parent and pet information, including veterinary / vaccination details
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
• Adhere to privacy standards and maintain pet parent confidentiality
• Collaborate with all staff to ensure smooth daycare operations
• Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs under care
• Feed, walk, and provide water to dogs
• Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management
• Assist with administering medications (as needed) as directed by pet owners or veterinarians

Experience :

• Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred
• Previous experience in administrative assistance and customer service is preferred
• Proficiency in using office equipment including phone systems, printers, scanners, and computers.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Word, and Excel and other media platforms such as Canva and PowerPoint.
