Position Summary

As a newly hired Sales Associate, you will participate in the Richmond American Homes Peak Sales Training program. This training phases of the program includes initial orientation, Richmond American Way Training, systems training, job shadowing, and selling.

The program is designed for all skill levels, with the primary function is to receive and implement on the job training to graduate from the program within four to ten weeks.

We are currently hiring for our November training class which requires employment to begin on 11 / 11 / 24.

Responsibilities

Participate in training sessions on policies and procedures through self-led exercises, instructor-led training, and shadowing experienced sales associates.

  • Travel between communities to provide support in the absence of staff or for development purposes.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Engage in networking and prospecting activities.
  • Ensure quality customer service by understanding customer touchpoints and guiding buyers through the sales process.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of contract paperwork, a prerequisite for promotion to Sales Associate.
  • Gather and analyze market data essential for maintaining community competitiveness.
  • Adhere to standard sales office hours while prioritizing flexibility to accommodate customer schedules.
  • Successfully finish mandatory company training programs, secure necessary sales units, and gain management approval for promotion to Sales Associate.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • A Real Estate License is required in all states EXCEPT CO, MD , TX & VA
  • Previous high-end sales, preferred.
  • Ability to connect with people, and develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Action oriented individuals, with the drive to push sales to successful closure
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation because driving within a community and to other communities is an essential function of this position
  • All new hires will attend a week of sales training at our corporate office in Denver, CO during the first month of employment.

Compensation

  • Base Salary : $25.00 per hour while in the training program
  • Estimated Annual Compensation with Commissions : $125,000 - $175,000
  • FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
  • Bonus Type : None
