Our company is rapidly growing, and we are seeking an experienced title processor to join our team. You will assist buyers and the title team in making sure the title application is prepared and submitted correctly, and work with the team to resolve any issues or discrepancies to produce a clear title.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working in title insurance, mortgage lending, or real estate transactions, with a keen eye for detail and outstanding research and customer service skills.

$50,000 - $65,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and all underwriting commitments have been satisfied
- Liaise with pre-processor to be sure all items are complete, settlement processor or paralegal to ensure all settlement figures are correct, and with the post-closing agent to ensure the transaction is recorded and any outstanding issues are resolved
- Record transactions by entering necessary title and loan documents into software programs and track applicant’s progress
- Collaborate with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments, and with loan closer to prepare HUD-1 real estate settlement statements
- Research and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear title
- Follow closing instructions, and verify that all closing conditions have been satisfactorily met
- Verify all closing documentation, mortgage closing documents, third-party orders, closing packages, and signatures are correct in the loan files
- Collect documentation, review, prepare, and close loan packages or loan files
- Perform tasks necessary to clear title requirements, fund the closing of real estate purchase and sale transactions, and issue title insurance policies
- Monitor scheduled closing dates and work with the closing team to ensure all deadlines are met
- Coordinate funding approval and once obtained initiate disbursement of funds to all necessary parties to the transaction
Qualifications :
- Excellent research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are needed
- A notary public certification is not imperative, but is a bonus
- Intermediate proficiency with numerous programs including MS Office is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Extremely organized with great time management and analysis skills is preferred
- Candidates must be proficient with MS Office, lending, or title software, NMLS experience is desired
- Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with conducting real estate closings from Intake to Post-Closing, including preparing closing settlement statements, clearing title insurance requirements, drafting closing documents, funding transactions, recording documents, and issuing the final policy.
