ARLN Laboratory Coordinator
Health Program Coordinator) The Utah Public Health Laboratory is looking ARLN Laboratory Coordinator with a strong suit for data analysis to manage communications with client states and ensure that the surveillance of infectious diseases is being performed per ARLN (Antibiotic Resistance Laboratory Network) guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sample collection and shipment to UPHL; Oversee supplies shipments to client states
- Perform outreach to states served by UPHL
- Communicate updates and provide assistance / education to other HAI / AR and state laboratories
- Manage external communications
- Organize monthly state calls and one on one calls.
- Organize the ARLN Regional Laboratory Meeting.
- Conduct data analysis and draft reports for stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in the infectious diseases area of public health
- Experience coordinating communications with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in epidemiology of infectious diseases and / or infection prevention
- Experience in the field of Healthcare-Acquired Infections and Antibiotic Resistance / Stewardship
- Experience working in, or in collaboration with, a CLIA regulated laboratory

This position is typically scheduled Monday - Friday 8 : 30AM - 5 : 00PM
Working Environment :
Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Physical Requirements :
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items;
driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
