- Coordinate, manage, and convert inbound leads.
- Serve as the single point of contact to administer and facilitate all group reservations of 10 or more rooms nights and all events over 25 people *and* $5,000.
- Represent the property at public events, seminars, gatherings, and networking events.
- Work with other team members to ensure a unified, consistent, quality experience.
- Work to maximize opportunities to increase revenue and profit through the sale of room nights.
- Drive the sale of group reservations, corporate, partner, and business transient accounts, meeting space, catering, event space, and rentals to corporate community members, clients, organizations, business, and associations.
- Develop relationships, nurture them into sales, and then continue to build upon their success with each particular contact and account over time.
- Work both on site at Kinship and in the field to ensure customer service, and support administrative tasks.
- Build strong relationships with collective teams from the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Banquets and Catering, Food and Beverage, Marketing, Facilities, Revenue Manager, GM oversight, and Executive Leadership.
- Leverage consistent and constant communication to ensure the guest groups have a great experience, the hotel remains competitive, and no important details are missed.
- Maintain a deep understanding of all the moving pieces within the hotel including the PMS, POS and Hotel CRM / groups / events software, to the guest experience, to sales, marketing, Revenue Management.
- Proven successful sales experience - 3 to 5+ years professional sales preferred.
- Awareness of marketing practices and strategies, marketing experience or experience collaborating with marketing teams.
- Self motivated drive applied to meet and exceed goals.
- Ability to self manage without direct supervision.
- Confident and effective negotiator.
- Excellent networking skills with the ability to find win-win solutions.
- Savvy with modern technology, including Microsoft Office, various social media platforms, third party applications and programs, and willingness to learn new systems and rely on digital efficiencies.
- Healthy network of relationships willing to leverage. Colorado context preferred.
- Energized by autonomy and able to make progress and decisions without step by step direction.
- Organized and detail oriented; able to keep clean and tidy records of relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable prospecting from scratch.
