This position will play a vital role in supporting attorneys throughout all stages of personal injury cases, ensuring exceptional client service and case management.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to :
- Conduct initial client consultations to gather case details, assess liability, and determine case viability.
- Manage all aspects of the case file, including medical records, bills, correspondence, and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Investigate accidents, gathering evidence, witness statements, and police reports.
- Work with medical providers to obtain medical records and ensure timely treatment for clients.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to obtain maximum compensation for clients.
- Prepare case documents and assist attorneys with trial preparation as needed.
- Manage case budgets and monitor expenses.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all work performed.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury case management.
- Strong understanding of personal injury law and litigation processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with legal case management software a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
