Our client, a reputable construction firm specializing in vertical concrete projects, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vertical Concrete Estimator to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for vertical concrete construction projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for vertical concrete construction projects, including walls, columns, cores, and other vertical elements.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.
- Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes to incorporate into project estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Maintain and update a database of historical costs and project data to assist in future estimates.
- Identify and assess potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present bid proposals and reports to management and clients.
- Stay current with industry trends, construction methods, and pricing changes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on vertical concrete projects.
- Strong knowledge of vertical concrete construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift).
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
