People Partner- Human Resources

Working in conjunction with some of the world’s most respected companies we create, design, and deliver products across multiple industry sectors including healthcare, packaging, industrial and consumer products, and we’re looking to hire a People Partner for our Human Resources Team.
Job Summary
The People Partner works with the Manager, People Strategy and Operations and Senior People Partners to coach, train and advise managers and employees on Human Resources issues, policies, and procedures.
Works to promote exceptional employee performance, create an environment of trust and teamwork, and support the HR needs of the management team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for Leave of Absence administration / tracking for all hourly employees meet with employee to create Leave of Absence file documents for all Medical, Personal and Family Medical Leave Act absences / leaves.
Enter hours in Ultipro for tracking.
Responsible for Attendance Tracking Evaluate absence points in Ultipro. Communicate with supervisors to verify / correct as needed.
Provide attendance report for posting weekly.
Responsible for New Employee Orientation Set up the new hire background check and drug test as requested by each plant.
Call to set up New Employee Orientation dates. Assist with Recruiting and complete all new hire paperwork and provide to payroll.
Enter new hire in Ultipro as needed.
- Maintain and update all hourly employee files address changes, job changes, pay increases, disciplinary action notices, etc.
- Assist all plant supervisors with communication notices or attendance issues- verify communication notices are issued per policy.
Set up a review board for attendance when requested.
- Assist employees with issues, questions, and complaints hours, vacation, attendance hours, etc.
- Coordinate Ultipro time and attendance issues
- Receives all incoming calls into Peoples department for past employment verifications / current employment verification / eligible for possible rehire / asking for an update of their application for all plants.
- Coordinates service award program, employee loans, and vending complaints.
- Assist with record keeping on Train Track.
- Supports Peoples department with company and plant events, employee meetings, and other projects as needed
- Backup to Operations Coordinator and Training functions.
