Overview
Illuminate seeks an exceptionally qualified Systems Architect to join a mission-focused team that maintains applications, services, micro-services, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and support services.
The effort requires the maintenance and enhancement of an application and underlying services / microservices’ application’s current capability while identifying future capability needs and eliminating overlaps.
The team will continuously improve sustainment and development in order to reinvest resources to provide new capabilities and improve the effectiveness, quality, and robustness of the underlying technology.
Our applications are focused on intelligence analysis and collection management directly supporting intelligence analysts and operators across the intelligence community and Combatant Commands.
The Systems Architect is responsible for devising, configuring, operating, and maintaining both computer and networking systems in accordance with customer and end user requirements;
analyze desired processes and outcomes and advise on the proper configuration of IT systems and components to achieve the customer’s end-state.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development of cross functional or large-scale automated information systems to include enterprise architectures to include when needed AWS Cloud technologies
- Designs system architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements and provides for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces
- Provides comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance
- Performs evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs
Qualifications
- Clearance : TS / SCI
- Polygraph : current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT) / IA Management (IAM) Level 2
- Experience working on a development team under DoD / DIA DevSecOps processes
- Understanding of Oracle and / or CENTOS based architecture
- Must be analytical and effectively able to prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or information management and eight years of comparable work experience.
- Desired skills include up to ten or more years of program / application operations experience.
- Prefer candidates who have experience in the Intelligence Community.
- Prospective candidates should have strong risk management skills, excellent communication, teamwork and conflict management skills.
