Marketing Research Analyst

Our client is seeking a talented Marketing Research Analyst for our client in the consumer electronics hardware industry, who is experienced in product management with a focus on market and competitive research while closely interfacing with our client’s R&D scientists.

This role is ONSITE and based in Phoenix, AZ. As the Market Research Analyst, you will research the status of market and consumer trends, along with competitive analysis.

This role will gather and analyze data on consumers and competitors while studying consumer preferences, business conditions, and other factors to assess potential sales of products.

The TOP background is someone with offline user research experience, such as communicating directly with customers in stores, visiting clients, and gathering information at trade shows.

Job Requirements :

• Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations
• Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
• Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
• erform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
• Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
• Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases
• Offline user research, such as communicating directly with customers in stores, visiting clients, gathering information at trade shows offline user research, such as communicating directly with customers in stores, visiting clients, gathering information at trade shows
• Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing / business models, sales and methods of operation
• Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices

Required Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
• Certification in Market Research (CMRA) a plus
• Over 5 years of experience in market research or related role, with proven ability to generate actionable insights
• Ability to work present findings to leadership

Compensation : $80,000-100,000 DOE plus bonus and benefits
