Summary :
Develop and maintain KDF vacuum control software which includes creating graphical interfaces, programming PLC systems, testing software, interfacing with customers and suppliers, addressing component issues, documenting software features, and troubleshooting problems.
How you will make a difference :
- Develop source code to control KDF vacuum equipment
- Develop Human Machine Graphical Interfaces (HMI)
- Interface with customers and suppliers in a professional manner
- Install, configure and program device drivers and firmware
- Design PLC based control systems
- Address component obsolescence issues successfully
- Test and validate operation of control software on system builds
- Document and update software features for operation manuals
- Work with production and customers to debug and / or resolve operational problems.
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- B.S. degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or combination of education and experience
- Minimum two year experience
- Experience with communication protocols RS 232 / 485, Ethernet I / P and Profinet preferred
- Experience in Visual Studio
Experience in SQL,VBA and C#
- Able to develop & write an operational specification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of PLC’s and programming familiarity, Rockwell Factory talk products, structured text, and ladder logic
