McKinley Marketing Partners, a 24 Seven Company, is looking for a Digital Art Director for our nonprofit client in DC. The Digital Art Director will design and display content while ensuring alignment with enterprise brand strategy and brand architecture.

This is a long-term, ongoing (18+ months), W2, 40-hour-a-week contract. All McKinley roles include a competitive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Partner with editors, photo editors, illustrators, and graphic designers to identify optimal presentation for the organization's content.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities to streamline processes and develop new procedures that support the department.
- Create graphics and visuals for digital publications or platforms.
- Develop visuals and design content including layouts or digital stories.
- Collaborate with editors and production staff to meet deadlines.
- Provide feedback to and manage day-to-day workload for junior designers.
- Provide input on contracts for illustrators and upload illustrations to CMS, and generate lists for award submissions.
- Collaborate with the photo department on photography.
- Perform admin duties including inputting contracts, participating in awards, and uploading files to CMS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in applicable areas.
- 7+ years of experience in art direction, design, and management.
- Experience in managing a team, including junior designers.
- Created and creative content and design creation for digital platforms, but also some print.
