Summary of Position
The Assistant Manager is responsible for the managing of club housekeeping daily service including the evening shifts. The manager supervises daily operations and maintenance of the club public areas.
Ensures that member requests are answered expeditiously and according to the established standards. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for responding to requests from member, the club and spa and other hotel departments as needed.
Maintain and track inventories of supplies, maintain operational and labor cost according to set goals. Housekeeping Assistant Manager is responsible for hiring and training of all new staff.
Supervision Exercised
Supervises daily servicing of the all locker rooms, pools, tennis courts, staffing levels and all other club and spa facilities.
Supervision Received
Reports to Executive Housekeeper
Knowledge and Skills
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager must understand and communicate fluently in English. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager must be thoroughly familiar with the housekeeping functions of all club and spa areas, purchasing and schedules.
He / She must maintain communication with the Club Front Desk and Engineering Departments to coordinate issues with all equipment including club and spa.
The supervisor must be able to interact effectively with staff, club members, supervisors and employees in other departments.
Education and Work Experience
High School Education is preferred, but not required. Previous hotel housekeeping experience and / or supervisor experience preferred.
Maintained of fitness and spa experience a plus.
Tasks / Responsibilities
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager ensures all housekeeping services and maintenance of club facilities, club equipment, public areas are maintained.
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager ensures that all member requests are appropriately executed. He / She assists in other departments both in person and over the phone.
He / She is highly responsive to the needs of all the operating departments. He / She is responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas are clean, stocked with towels and organized.

Employees in this position will be required to work effectively in areas where the majority of the time they are in full view of the members and guests.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk, stand, stretch and bend for long periods of time. The hours of work vary upon business levels. Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
and occasionally manipulate wheeled carts that weigh up to 200 lbs. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to perform all activities in a professional manner.
Must be able to see and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids. Must be able to communicate in person and over the telephone.
