Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer north of Columbia, SC who is looking to hire a Maintenance Manager to their team! They are looking for candidates who have experience in manufacturing environments (plastics preferred), industrial maintenance experience, and leadership experience.

Responsibilities :
- Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Ensuring that all maintenance work is documented according to internal and external requirements.
- Monitoring the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, planning re-orders to avoid delays in maintenance activities.
- Training and developing maintenance staff to enhance their skill sets and efficiency.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations involving equipment breakdowns, mitigating potential hazards or interruptions.
- Implementing energy-saving measures and sustainability practices in maintenance operations.
- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures that minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
- Supervising and managing the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
- Managing maintenance-related budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of equipment and facility upkeep.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets, teams, and large-scale maintenance projects.
- Strong understanding of compliance and safety regulations pertinent to the industry.
- A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering (preferred)
