Area Maintenance Manager (experienced level professioinal)

MISSION
The Area Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 25 -35 maintenance personnel in an area of the facility.
He / she will ensure the availability and reliability of equipment within their maintenance sector, while optimizing maintenance costs and energy, while utilizing a continuous improvement approach.
This will allow Operations to achieve its goals of Safety, Quality, Cost, and Production.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Safety requirements are prioritized and ensured at all times (personnel and equipment)
- The maintenance strategy is applied to equipment criticality
- Maintenance plans are implemented, to include effective reaction to breakdowns, and proactive work on machinery to improve control of the process (reliability).
- Effectiveness of machine interventions is continuously optimized (The analysis of maintenance results is ensured and implementation of necessary actions to ensure continuous progress over short and medium term horizons)
- Maintenance costs are optimized, including operational efficiency, energy, and spare parts consumption
- The steps and tools of MMW (Michelin Manufacturing Way) are mastered to drive reliability progress
- The reliability of equipment is ensured, in particular by dealing with obsolescence cases
- Resources are adapted (competency and quantity), training and succession plans are created and carried out
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years prior maintenance management experience is required
- Proven leadership of teams, with examples of facilitating and driving progress
- Technical degree is a plus but equivalent experience is considered
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
- Proven record of development of people through coaching and mentoring, and establishment of development plans
