PositionOverview :
We are seeking a skilled anddetailoriented Mechanical Lab Technician to join our team. Theideal candidate will play a key role in prototype development andmechanical testing within our engineering lab.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct mechanical testing using specializedequipment to evaluate the performance and reliability of prototypesfocusing on medical hardware applications.
- Follow validation protocols and procedures to ensureprototypes meet specified criteria and standards.
- Apply strong problemsolving skills to identify andresolve mechanical issues encountered during prototype developmentand testing.
- Maintain accurate documentationof design iterations test results and project progress usingdocument control processes.
- Collaborateeffectively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers anddesigners to discuss designs convey ideas and reportfindings.
- Demonstrate precision and attentionto detail in all aspects of prototype fabrication testing anddocumentation.
- Adhere strictly to safetyprotocols and procedures to ensure a safe workingenvironment.
- Uphold highquality andreliability standards in all lab activities ensuring ethicalconduct in handling proprietary and sensitiveinformation.
Qualifications :
- Associate degree or equivalent experience inMechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
- Familiarity with mechanical testing methods and equipmentfor evaluating prototype performance and reliability.
- Strong problemsolving abilities with a proactive approachto troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Excellent documentation skills to maintain accuraterecords of design changes test results and projectmilestones.
- Effective communication andcollaboration skills with the ability to work in a teamenvironment.
- Ability to adapt to changingproject requirements and priorities while maintaining attention todetail and precision.
