WTVQ-TV ABC 36 Lexington seeks a web content producer to join our team. Candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of producing television news or the equivalent.
We are searching for a candidate that is highly motivated, a team player, creative, aggressive, and a self-starter. Individual must have strong writing skills and be familiar with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Responsibilities will include :
- Create content for all digital platforms while communicating with newsroom staff
- Post video to WTVQ website
- Work with reporters and producers to post material on the website and social media
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and overnights
- Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity
- Meet assigned deadlines.
- Good organizational skills
