Volt is seeking a Sr. CAD Drafter / CAM Programmer located in Portland OR
As a Sr. CAD Drafter / CAM Programmer you will :
Create shop fabrication drawings for custom fixtures, cabinets, millwork, retail architectural casework, and ornamental metal for our clients
This is a full-time role
Ideal candidate will have :
- Associate degree in architecture or mechanical Drafting / Design preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with AutoCAD software
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with SolidWorks software.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Mastercam software, including writing
code for CNC machinery.
- Ability to work from architectural and ID blueprints or renderings to produce accurate, buildable shop fabrication drawings.
- Proficiency in utilizing software shortcut features and efficiencies.
- Knowledge of architectural woodworking and architectural detailing.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-production
environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and
communicate effectively with the team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks certifications are preferred.
- Cabinet making shop experience helpful
Pay Rate : $29.00-$32.00 / per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
