Roles & Responsibilities
- Produce design documents including DD, CD sets, and schedules from concept design through installation.
- Produce creative designs (2D, 3D, and hand drawings) on a number of different project types including high-end multi-family residential, hospitality, and mixed-use commercial.
- Strong ability to space plan and read architectural drawings.
- Showcase knowledge to current interiors and furniture trends.
- Liaise directly with clients, external consultants, and suppliers.
- Support budget management.
Key Skills & Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional interior design, ideally with similar projects.
- Strong technical drawing skills.
- Demonstratable experience producing drawings for custom FF&E and fixtures and ability to review drawings.
- Ability to work on simultaneous projects with a quick turnaround of thorough, detailed, and accurate drawings.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), CAD drawing package, SketchUp, Bluebeam; huge plus if you can use VectorWorks and / or Design Spec.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to present your work internally with partners and with external clients.
