POSITION OVERVIEW :

As an Oncology Medication Prior Authorization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patients have timely access to necessary oncology treatments.

You will work closely with healthcare providers, insurance providers, insurance companies and patients to facilitate the prior authorization process for oncology and other related medications.

Key responsibilities include prior auth submission, patient advocacy, documentation and management, and patient assistance management.

EDUCATION :

• One to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and / or experience
• Pharmacy Tech Certification, preferred

EXPERIENCE :

One year (1) work experience in hospital or clinic setting, preferably in a Cancer Center.
