CAD Drafter
Spring Valley, NY
Orchard LLC has multiple openings to support a well-established solutions provider within the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sector for CAD Drafters in Spring Valley, NY.
If you are a Drafting professional in the construction or electrical field, our client has an opportunity for you. The period of Performance is 6 Months with potential extension beyond the period depending on the business needs.
Required Skills and Experience :
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of related experience with a High School Diploma. Associate's degree preferred.
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
- Understanding of drafting standards and documentation practices.
- Ability to be precise and create accurate plans that are free of errors.
- Experience converting concepts into detailed drawings.
- Ability to communicate with clients via email and phone.
- Knowledge of construction, engineering, surveying, and design techniques.
- High preference for applicants with experience working for utility companies or transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.
- Must be able to commute to the Spring Valley office.
