Purpose
To provide post operative care and experimental testing of rats with peripheral nerve a or spinal injuries; general lab maintenance in the lab of Dr.
George Bittner for the Department of Neuroscience.
Responsibilities
Post-operative care of rats with a nerve injury.
Behavioral testing of rats with a nerve injury.
Ensure that control and experimental rats have proper food and water.
Ordering supplies and managerial tasks.
Histological and IHC protocols.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Neuroscience or Biology or related field.
Biology or chemistry lab experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in animal care and maintenance.
Salary
$45,000
Working Conditions
May work around chemical fumes.

Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
