About Us : We are Ankle & Foot Care Center, a dedicated poditry, wound care practice committed to providing exceptional care to our patients.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. This role involves managing our office efficiently, assisting the doctor with patient care, and performing wound care at nursing homes and private residences.

Job Responsibilities :

• Office Management : Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, patient intake, and maintaining medical records.
• Patient Assistance : Prepare patients for examinations, and assist with various medical procedures.
• House Calls & Wound Care : Accompany the doctor to provide wound care at nursing homes and private residences. Must have the stamina to thrive in various home environments.
• Administrative Tasks : Handle phone calls, process paperwork, and ensure a smooth workflow within the office.
• Patient Interaction : Offer compassionate and professional support to patients, addressing their concerns and providing information as needed.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in the healthcare field is a must.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a good attention span.
• Charming personality with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in Spanish is a must.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for house calls.
• Ability to follow directions accurately, manage time effectively, and accept and grow from constructive criticism.
• Ability to thrive in diverse conditions, including patient homes and nursing facilities.
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate the needs of the role.
