Responsibilities

• Estimate and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Review project plans specifications and documents for accurate cost estimates
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to estimate material labor and equipment costs
• Prepare takeoffs scope of work and bid packages for projects
• Communicate with subcontractors suppliers and vendors for quotes
• Analyze bid results and prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for clients
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Monitor project progress and communicate with clients and team members
• Coordinate all project activities including scheduling budgeting and quality control
• Ensure project documentation is completed accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Minimum 35 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
• Knowledge of project management principles
• Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents
• Experience with Specialty Contractors or a SelfPerforming contractor
• Experience in sales / marketing is a plus
