Job Title : Social Media Specialist
Reports To : Director, Marketing
Job purpose :
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to develop and implement social media strategies that promote the organization’s brand to both patients and internal stakeholders.
This role will focus on driving patient acquisition and engagement while enhancing our brand culture. This role will be responsible for managing all social media platforms, creating engaging content, and fostering a positive online presence that aligns with organizational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with company goals to accelerate growth, drive patient acquisition, and increase engagement.
- Oversee all social media channels, ensuring consistent and compelling content delivery.
- Create, develop, and manage engaging content across platforms to promote the organization’s brand to both external patients and internal employees.
- Develop and maintain an editorial calendar and content strategy to ensure timely and relevant social media activity.
- Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns and engage with followers to build relationships and encourage meaningful interaction (responding to comments, direct messages, live streams, etc.)
- Develop new social media channels as needed to expand reach and grow the brand’s presence.
- Engage and moderate online communities, including Facebook groups, to foster a positive environment, respond to inquiries, and facilitate discussions.
- Monitor industry developments and social media trends to recommend innovative strategies that keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and alignment with marketing initiatives.
- Analyze social media metrics and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize content performance.
- Ensure all internal and external social media requests are professionally managed and delivered with best practices in social media and influencer marketing.
- Leverage social listening tools to monitor and manage brand reputation and stay ahead of trends.
- Monitor industry developments and best practices in social media marketing and community management.
- Work closely with creative teams to develop and execute content and strategies.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent industry experience.
- 1-3 years experience managing all aspects of professional social media accounts (Healthcare industry experience a plus).
- Experience in managing organic and paid social media campaigns and building a strong social media presence in a corporate environment.
- An understanding of analytics and social listening platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in graphic design and short-form video / editing for social media implementation.
- Self-starter with initiative, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills. Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
- A strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working both collaboratively and independently.
