Amazon is looking for an experienced communications professional to build out an Analyst Relations team for its Worldwide Stores Communications team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive build and execute an analyst and third-party engagement program, with a focus on building awareness of Stores business and the experiences we create for customers.
We seek a high-judgement, self-starting, detail-oriented, and experienced communications professional. The right candidate will have experience working with analysts and research firms (inclusive of boutique firms, media, and academics) and an ability to operate independently.
This person should have experience communicating about technology innovations and great customer experiences.
The Analyst Relations Manager will partner with Amazon’s communications and business teams, and will have opportunities to work directly with business leaders.
This role will develop strategies, define tactics, and lead the execution of our communication programs that reach analysts and other researchers.
The individual must be comfortable with balancing big thinking with detailed execution, and should have the ability to quickly adapt to new information.

The right candidate is strong writer who can clarify complex ideas and technical topics and communicate them to a wide variety of internal and external audiences.
Key job responsibilities
- Driving external thought-leader awareness of Amazon’s Stores business, including its core benefits and innovations.
- Creating and delivering ongoing activities such as relationship management, briefings, events, and business-team support.
- Proactively building awareness and securing positive placement of Amazon in thought leader commentary.
- Collaborating with business and communications teams to educate external thought leaders.
- Prioritizing and managing incoming requests from thought leaders for information, event speakers, and research partnerships.
- Writing presentations and preparing executives for engaging with external thought leaders.
- Defining, measuring and reporting success and learnings.
- Regularly interact with senior leadership to influence strategy.
- Tracking results and other data to feed into weekly and quarterly status reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience interacting with executive leadership

- Proven ability to craft highly impactful copy
- A track record of successfully representing high-profile technology companies
- Outstanding attention to detail, understanding of technology and ability to communicate complex topics effectively
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to respond quickly to changing data
- A knack for diplomacy and the confidence to engage and build consensus with functional leaders at all levels
