- Regular Company : Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department : Clinical Care Equipment Time Type : Full time Weekly Hours : 40 FTE : 1 Shift : First Shift (United States of America) Summary : Supports specialized biomedical equipment throughout the campus;
- develops, administers and ensures compliance with quality assurance measures in conjunction with the Senior Biomedical Engineering Technician;
repairs, inspects, calibrates, tests, cleans and lubricates electronic and electro / mechanical equipment.
Salary range for this position is $72,032 - $91,381 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications : Required Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of internship or on-the-job training / work experience in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of biomedical, electronic, or electro / mechanical equipment; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of internship or on-the-job training / work experience in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of biomedical, electronic, or electro / mechanical equipment.
NOTE :
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience, experience with biomed equipment support, MS office applications, IT networking, Customer support experience and achievements, and AAMI certifications or an associates degree in a related field.
