Job Title : Accounts Payable Check Specialist Location : Urbandale, IA Salary : $19.85 / hour Job ID : #141599 About the Job : The Accounts Payable Check Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and entering invoices, supporting the AP team, scanning and indexing invoices, reconciling invoices to statements, verifying authorized signatures on invoices, and managing departmental correspondence and checks.
The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities : Prepare, review, and enter invoices for entry. Support other AP staff. Scan and index invoices. Reconcile invoices to statements.
Verify signatures comply with authorized approvals on invoices. File department correspondence and checks. Qualifications : High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma.
One or more years of related work experience preferred. Attention to detail to transmit information accurately and understandably in both written and verbal formats.
