Operator I-II - Spiral (3rd shift)

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Position : Operator I-III - Spiral

Rate : $26.68 - $28.94 + $0.75 shift differential

Shift : 3rd shift

Monday thru Thursday night finishing up Friday morning from 8 pm to 7 am

Must be willing and flexible to work overtime when needed.*

While reporting to the shift supervisor you will work in production for our tube and core division and be responsible for working in a quick and safe manner.

Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment.

You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.

What you’ll be doing :

• Collaborating closely with other departments and teams
• Being able to work at a fast pace
• Packing a wide variety of products and materials
• Removing product from the line and visually inspecting to assure quality standards
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Performing all duties as designated by supervisor / manager.
• Performing all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Helping in other departments as needed, including but not limited to the palletizing, labeling and warehouse areas of the factory.

• You have previous manufacturing experience and / or training (1 year preferred)
• You read and comprehend standard work instructions, math, and measuring
