HCM Programmer Analyst

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a HCM Programmer Analyst for our premier client in San Bernardino, California .

Education and Experience

• Experience and Education : Information Management, Computer Science, or any closely related field with at least 5 years’ working experience using HCM, PeopleSoft, JavaScript libraries, SQL and SQR.
• An equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
• Advanced PeopleCode experience.
• Experience with COBOL, Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience selectively adopting bug fixes and new features from PUM Images.
• Experience reducing customizations by use of Event Mapping and Drop Zones.
• Government experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient with PeopleSoft development suite - Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc.
• Familiar with various designs, architectural patterns, and HCM frameworks.
• Advanced SQL experience on an Oracle database.
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Ability to write clean, readable, modular, scalable and easily maintainable code with proper technical documentation.
• Understanding of code versioning tools.
• Troubleshooting, analytical skills and excellent communication skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Job Responsibilities :

• Designing, implementing and testing HCM application involving new features and functionality from functional requirements.
• Developing and maintaining applications and modules related to Payroll, Time and Labor, Benefits, Benefits Administration, ePerformance and Talent Acquisition Management and Candidate Gateway modules.
• Database design in Oracle, SQL and formulating advanced SQL queries
• Developing new and maintaining existing Database ETL processes and reports. Good communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and communicate with clients.
• Maintenance, support, design, development, and implementation of HCM application.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills; ability to handle changes in business requirements and set priorities across multiple projects.
