We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Spanish language and culture to students of varying skill levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in linguistics and a proven track record in classroom management and behavior management.

Compensation : PAID WEEKLY

• Teach Spanish language and culture to students of varying skill levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students and align with curriculum requirements.
• Use various learning technologies to enhance the learning experience and engage students.
• Utilize library services to supplement teaching materials and enhance the learning environment.
• Administer standardized tests to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide individualized support to students who may require extra attention, such as proofreading and providing feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes literacy education.
• Utilize the Chicago Manual Style to ensure consistent and professional presentation of materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate individual learning styles.

Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student learning and address any challenges.

Follow school policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Strong background in linguistics and Spanish language and culture.
• Experience with classroom management and behavior management.
• Proficiency in math, as it is often a component of Spanish language instruction.
• Excellent proofreading skills to ensure error-free materials.
• Experience with literacy education and the Chicago Manual Style.
• Familiarity with various learning technologies to enhance the learning experience.
