Inventory Control Specialist

Now hiring a Material Handler for our premier client in Albuquerque, NM!

Pay : $16-$17 / hr

Hours : 8am-5pm, M-F

Location : Albuquerque, NM 87109

Position Type : Temp to hire

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks the material for damages or shortages
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations
• Fills special orders and / or backorders as material is received
• Follows up with appropriate departments, carriers, and / or vendors on receiving discrepancies, damages, and storages
• Maintains assigned inventory stock locations making sure the material that is puut away has the correct locator and the shelves are kept neat and orderly
• Fills orders for delivery to customers
• Informs proper departments of stock outs, inventory discrepancies, and other inventory problems or concerns
• Loading / unloading trucks
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of warehouse experience
• 6+ months of forklift experience (certification is a plus)
• Have steel-toed boots or are able to get some before starting
