The Goddard School in Buford is seeking energetic Assistant Teacher - Full time or Par time.
- An Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment;
- Advance childrens physical and intellectual competence; Supports each childs social and emotional development and provide positive guidance;
Establishes positive and effective family relations; Ensures an effective program; Responsive to childrens needs; Maintains professional commitment.
Additionally, Assistant Teachers / Floaters are responsible for working together with the entire faculty in developing and implementing their lesson plans.
Experience :
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
