Do you love fitness and enjoy being in the water? The YMCA is looking for Water Exercise Instructor s to lead fun, engaging, and effective classes , both in deep water and shallow water settings, for members of all fitness levels! ️

As a Water Exercise Instructor, you'll be responsible for guiding participants through water-based workouts that promote cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

You'll create a welcoming, supportive environment where members feel motivated to achieve their fitness goals-all while having a great time in the water!

What You'll Do :

• Lead safe and effective water exercise classes for individuals of all ages and abilities.
• Provide clear instruction, demonstrating exercises and offering modifications to meet varying fitness levels.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participants to stay active and enjoy their workouts.
• Monitor the safety of participants and ensure that YMCA safety standards are met at all times.

What We're Looking For :

• At least 18 years of age
• Willingness to obtain BLS for professional Rescuer Certification
• Willingness to obtain Oxygen Administration Certification
• A passion for fitness and working with people.
• Previous experience leading group fitness or water-based classes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• A commitment to providing a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all participants.
