Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a nonprofit located in RTP. This position performs multiple accounting functions and analysis to produce timely and accurate financial reporting for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
This is a full time, direct hire role. Responsibilities : Maintain the general ledger and related accounts for multiple corporate entities, ensuring accurate documentation and records of all transactions.
Lead the monthly and year-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and financial adjustments.Reconcile and monitor capital project contracts and payments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts for various corporate entities in collaboration with department heads.Prepare accurate and complete financial statements and reportsPerform general ledger reconciliation and analysis for balance sheet and expense accounts.
Assist with annual audit and tax return requests.Review and approve leases entered into accounting software.Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of related accounting experience.Previous experience in commercial real estate preferredHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with Yardi Voyager and commercial property accounting systems is highly desirable.Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
