We are looking for a Visual Information Specialist / Staff Photographer to join our growing company! This role is located in Norfolk, VA.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Experienced in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Studio, PC and Mac operating systems, photojournalism techniques, cinematography, digital video file conversion, graphic design and still photography.
• Ability to develop visual solutions for complex abstract concepts.
• Ability to determine aesthetic appropriateness of project.
• Knowledge of Adobe software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.
• Knowledge of offset and digital printing, website design and social media creation.
• Must have a working knowledge of MS Office PowerPoint, Word and Excel with a strong background on calendars and scheduling.
• Must have experience in printing and binding.
• Have a basic knowledge of a stylus engraver.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Ability to interact professionally and confidently in supporting senior government officials
• Experience must reflect skill in the following areas : attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
• Be forward thinking; anticipate the needs of users and ensure they are configured
• Professional appearance and demeanor in dealing with customers, coworkers, teammates and supervisors
• Must be able to walk the long distances within and between buildings.

Requirements :

• Education : Advanced Professional Training / High School
• Years of Experience : Minimum of two (2) years of directly applicable experience in producing audio and visual aids in support of program briefs and user interface requirements.
• Directly applicable experience as a videographer and photographer; both on-location and studio photography.
• Certifications : None
• Clearance : SECRET
