Collision Detailer L3

Summary :

The Collision Detailer will clean, refurbish and detail vehicles repaired by the collision center and / or sold by the dealership.

Will inspect for imperfections in repairs while cleaning the vehicle and will correct imperfection or inform management of the situation.

Position is 100% on-site.

Essential Duties include the following; however, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

• Cleaning, refurbishing and detailing of vehicles for delivery to customer after repair to include : exterior, interior, underside, trunk area, under hood and more.
• Polish and or wax vehicles as required.
• Inform management of any imperfections noticed in the work performed by the collision center.
• Retrieve vehicles from and return them to shop or storage area.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
• Must follow all company safety policies, operations and practices.
• Assists in all other areas of the collision center, as needed.
• Maintains high ethical standards.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times.

Compensation :

Hourly rate of $20.00.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The individual should possess :

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; pay attention to detail; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language;

work well with the public.

Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Individual will be required to :

• Able to withstand outdoor weather.
• Frequently required to sit or stand for a long period of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and / or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 15 pounds.
