Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Role :

Provide subject matter expertise as a member of Booz Allen Hamilton Civil Team. Be the go-to expert for multiple office locations and project teams on information pertaining to requirements and how they relate, are implemented, and are supported by the Booz Allen Management Systems (QMS) and other associated policies and processes.

Be a creative and effective problem solver. Apply exceptional interpersonal skills with technical and management personnel at all levels of the organization participating broadly towards the goals of the Sector Certification and Engineering programs.

Establish strong relationships as a key business partner with key staff at their assigned sites and projects. Provide clear, concise, and timely responses to queries posed.

Provide added strength and value to the team by employing previously acquired knowledge, skills, and experience with design and development, cyber security, and service management, as they relate to the appropriate standard.

Pivot to changing business needs to allow success while serving internal clients. Possess fundamental knowledge in order to enable positive impact and reduce risks to projects under the Booz Allen Quality and Certification Program.

Bring a strong knowledge of United States Government contracting, including Department of Defense or Civil Agencies related opportunities, where there are requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposal (RFP) activities, to serve their assigned locations with pertinent support.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience with quality assurance and ISO related standards
  • Experience with delivering and providing quality support for certified projects as a technical project member, quality lead, or project manager
  • Experience with supporting certification activities or conducting ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 20000 or ISO 27001 audits and identifying, initiating, and tracking corrective actions
  • Experience with risk assessment to support technical project delivery
  • Experience working on U.S. Government contracts, including understanding roles, processes, and constraints
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
  • Ability to adjust quickly to change
  • Ability to be creative and solve problems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability / Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :

  • Experience as a Quality Management Representative
  • Experience with ISO 27001 or ISO 20000
  • Experience with providing proposal support, primarily for required quality topics
  • Knowledge of SharePoint functionality and Office 365
  • Completion of the ISO 9001 : 2015, AS9100, ISO 20000 or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Course

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
