What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Handle customer service activities related to self-pay and insurance billing inquiries
- Assist patients in resolving billing issues and setting up payment plans
- Provide detailed documentation and reports of customer interactions
- Track trends and make recommendations for issue resolution
- Escalate complex issues to the Supervisor Customer Service
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field
- At least one year of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare or financial service setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous service / call center experience
- Experience in a complex, multi-site environment
- Completion of regulatory / mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
