What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Handle customer service activities related to self-pay and insurance billing inquiries
  • Assist patients in resolving billing issues and setting up payment plans
  • Provide detailed documentation and reports of customer interactions
  • Track trends and make recommendations for issue resolution
  • Escalate complex issues to the Supervisor Customer Service

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field
  • At least one year of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare or financial service setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Previous service / call center experience
  • Experience in a complex, multi-site environment
  • Completion of regulatory / mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
