Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Senior .NET Developer who will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our software products, contributing to the entire development lifecycle.

You will work closely with multi-functional teams to craft, build and optimize web applications and services. This is a phenomenal opportunity to tap into your expertise in .

Location : Chicago, IL.

Candidate is required to be in the office 3 days a week *

Roles and responsibilities :

Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment

Design and develop software using ASP .Net framework 4.8, Quartz Scheduler, SQL Server

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Able to handle the client requirements with minimum guidance.

Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.

Migration and legacy conversion projects are added advantages.

Required qualifications :

BS / BA degree or equivalent experience

8+ years of software development experience

Proficiency in ASP .Net framework 4.8, Quartz Scheduler, SQL Server

Nice to Have : Net Core and React

Knowledge on CI / CD, jules, Git

Strong communication skills and experienced in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology.

Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving

Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.
