Overview

Immanuel Communities is seeking an Experienced Full time Day / Evening Server to work up to 35 hours / week with availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends (including some holidays) at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323.

Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care / skilled nursing suites.

This will include IL and AL areas.

This position will pay up to $17.42 / hour (straight pay / no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of this job include assisting the management team with new employees training and helping implement our company policies and cleanliness of our dining rooms.

Also working independently as a lead within the dining room services during daytime and nighttime shifts. Prepares tables for meals, refilling containers, clearing dishes, handling food safely, attending to residents’ needs, taking phone orders, and ensuring other servers are completing tasks.

Facilitates a pleasant dining experience for the residents and guests who dine at the community.

Skills & Requirements

One (1) year dining room serving experience is required.
