As a Product Development Project Manager :
What you will do :
- Ensure the successful execution of multiple, simultaneous new product development projects
- Oversee and participate in discussions to clearly define the project scope which will include cost targets, product features, deadlines, etc.
- Lead multiple cross functional (engineering, supply chain, operations, product management, etc.) teams in methodologically addressing urgent issues & proactively defining task sequences and key milestones to ensure timely decision-making and task completion
- Facilitate and guarantee clear communications between project team members, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure productive outcomes
- Orchestrate all activities required for prototype builds including collection, categorization, and prioritization of feedback to drive efficient design iterations
- Collect and record key information from meetings, emails, and other media and ensure proper documentation practices are followed by project team members
- Effectively mediate between conflicting departments, stakeholders, or project team members to determine an agreeable direction
- Prepare and deliver executive level communication summarizing project progress
- Proactively analyze and provide suggestions for improvements related to project management processes, tools, and resources
Required Qualifications Include :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with experience leading complex projects within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering related field is preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of product development processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven leadership within a matrix organization
- Ability to inspire innovation and motivate others
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications Include :
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes
- 5 + years of experience in Project Management
- Experience with Smartsheet work management software
