MaineHealth Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking a FT BE / BC Pediatric Pulmonologist to join three additional pulmonologists and a nurse practitioner in Portland, Maine.
Being BE / BC in sleep medicine is desirable but not required for the position, and applicants interested in general pulmonology are encouraged to apply.
Position highlights :
- Maine’s only pediatric pulmonary specialty group
- Care for children from all of Maine and parts of New Hampshire, with outreach clinics in central Maine to improve access for children in rural parts of the state.
- Active bronchoscopy service, participation in an aerodigestive clinic, a muscular dystrophy clinic, and manage children on home ventilation.
- Provide care for children at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, a 96-bed hospital that includes a 50-bed neonatal ICU and 8 bed PICU within MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland.
- Associated with an American Academy of Sleep Medicine accredited Sleep Medicine Center.
- Academic responsibilities include providing education to the pediatric residency program and students from Tufts Medical School’s Maine track program.
