We are seeking a versatile, family-friendly House Manager / Driver to work for a kind, young ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family with homes in NYC and the Hamptons.
This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of multiple households. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing daily activities, and maintaining the highest standard of service for family members, guests, pets, and transportation needs.
The candidate must be family-oriented, as there is currently one baby, with plans for more children in the future. Note : This is not a nanny position.
Key Responsibilities :
Household Management : Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple homes, ensuring that household needs are met. This includes managing inventory, ordering supplies, handling returns, and coordinating maintenance and vendor services.
Staff Supervision : Manage and supervise household staff (cleaners, chefs, nannies, gardeners), ensuring they complete their tasks to a high standard in a calm, organized environment.
Driving Duties : Provide transportation for the family as needed, including driving the principal or family members to events and outings.
Must have an excellent driving record.Pet Care : Assist with the care of the family’s two dogs, ensuring they are fed, exercised, and groomed regularly.
Schedule veterinary visits and coordinate dog walking and training as needed.Vehicle Maintenance : Ensure household vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and serviced regularly.
Event Planning : Plan, coordinate, and manage social events or gatherings, overseeing hospitality and ensuring smooth event execution.
Guest Management : Oversee guest hospitality, providing a seamless and high-quality experience for all visitors.Budgeting and Financial Management : Monitor household expenses and manage budgets for groceries, maintenance, and services.
Track spending and report to the household principals, negotiating contracts and pricing with vendors as necessary.Security : Oversee the household’s security, including managing alarm systems and liaising with security services.
Errands and Personal Assistance : Assist with personal errands, such as shopping, travel arrangements, and coordinating appointments and deliveries.
Skills and Qualifications :
Experience in household management, including staff supervision, pet care, and safe driving for family members.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Budget management experience and attention to detail.Problem-solving and time management skills.
