JOB LOCATION This is a fully remote position.

and using ML to optimize each dial attempt and improve credit cardholder debt collection efforts for a global contact center.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must haves

  • 5+ years of experience as Data Analytics Consultancy providing strategic oversight and experience as a technical lead to provide day-to-day leadership and direction.
  • 5+ years of experience of client-facing project experience is a must, including working in close-knit delivery teams
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate complex solutions to business stakeholders and technical stakeholders
  • 5+ years’ experience as a data analyst, DBA, BI Engineer, Solution Architect or Data engineer, and preferably experience managing direct reports
  • 5+ years’ experience in writing production-ready SQL
  • High proficiency in data extraction, manipulation and analysis in SQL
  • Exceptional ability to identify anomalies and patterns in business data
  • Strong understanding of relational database principals
  • Experience working with cloud ecosystems
  • Experience in working w / or designing workflow systems such as CRM’s, ERP’s, marketing stacks
  • Experience in other programing languages to manipulate data such as python, R is a plus
  • Experience in working with big data platforms such as Snowflake
  • Ability to work across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, extracting information, data wrangling and identifying linkages across disparate data sets
  • Extraordinary attention to detail REQUIREMENTS
  • Need to be eligible to work in USA
  • Willing to go onsite to client work sites as needed (Most likely only once a quarter)

WHAT YOU'LL DO Beacon Data is seeking a talented, Business Intelligence Analyst / Engineer to join our data team and help us solve complex and interesting problems for our diverse clients.

During your initial project, you and your engagement team will assist with building a new data reporting and data orchestration system for several clients.

Your team will :

  • Analyze the data flowing through the existing ERP, CRM and other workflow systems
  • Structure and redesign the data flows with the aim of maintaining single source of truth for all master data and consistent reporting
  • Set up and maintain the appropriate data infrastructure to support the above plan on an AWS environment (ex : Redshift, EC2, ELT tools, data wrangling tools, etc.)
  • Acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources and systems into a data warehouse
  • Collaborate with business teams to map data fields to hypotheses and curate, wrangle, and prepare data for use in reporting and BI
  • Maintain the highest security standards across the entire data eco system
  • Implement and maintain BI & reporting tools
  • Provide business insights using consolidated data

The Senior Data Analytics Manager at Beacon will play a pivotal role in providing both strategic oversight and day-to-day leadership to drive analytics projects forward.

Working closely with Beacon’s project team and the client’s internal data analyst, data engineer, and IT department, they will adopt an agile scrum approach to project delivery.

This is far from a solitary role; it thrives on active cross-team communication and collaborative problem-solving aimed at creating tools to enhance company-wide effectiveness through data.

Once foundational projects are established, Beacon and the client will unlock the potential for numerous strategic analyses and projects, leveraging a unified data system as the single source of truth.

This will lead to benefits such as deeper customer insights to optimize their journey, improved capabilities for upselling and cross-selling, enhanced productivity across departments, and more efficient call center operations.
